About the role
We are seeking a General Assistant Supervisor to lead, manage, and supervise a small team of General Assistants.
You will supervise the team\’s daily work, contribute to residents\’ well-being by ensuring cleanliness of accommodation and communal areas, and oversee the laundry service to meet the needs of the care home, residents, and staff.
Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining a 4-week rota, ensuring adequate staffing, and training new team members. You will also develop ideas to improve team effectiveness in consultation with the Care Home Manager.
About you
We prefer candidates with previous staff supervision experience and knowledge of Health and Safety. You should be able to work collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and organize workload effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent customer service skills are essential.
