This role will be based in the Capabilities Team at NCBRNC to support, strengthen, and assure the multi-agency response to CBRN Terrorism.

Contract type: Full Time, Secondment

Rank: Sergeant

You will supervise and support a small multi-agency team responsible for managing the National Strategic Reserve of CBRN PPE and equipment. You will collaborate with partners across blue light organisations, military, science, and industry to ensure current capabilities are fit for purpose against existing and future threats.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the capabilities team to enhance the UK\’s response to CBRN terrorism.
  • Manage the National Strategic Reserve, ensuring equipment readiness for incidents and training.
  • Develop and maintain the asset tracking system for the reserve, including warehousing and logistics.
  • Support PPE and detection equipment projects.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for replacements and asset tracking.
  • Generate quotations and manage billing for equipment.
  • Share information effectively within the CBRN network.
  • Participate in the on-call Duty Officer rota, providing 24/7 support for CBRN incidents.
