About the role
Working as part of the national Executive Hire team, you will be one of a team of recruitment researchers who will have responsibility for directly sourcing candidates for roles across RSM’s service lines within our UK offices.
One of the team’s key responsibilities is to recruit the right person for the right job, within the agreed timeframe. Communication with all parties is a must. You will be an integral part of helping the recruitment team improve client service and drive down recruitment costs.
You will work closely with the Executive Hire – Manager, Executive Hire – Assistant Manager, and hiring Partners across the country. You will have a particular responsibility for researching markets and sourcing candidates into a number of specified areas of the business. Your main focus will be to increase the number and percentage of quality direct hires into RSM, whilst also providing essential support across a variety of processes across the recruitment function.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing, attracting, and screening candidates using a variety of channels, including LinkedIn
- Sourcing as many direct candidates as possible to contribute to the reduction of RSM’s usage of recruitment agencies
- Delivering a high standard of client service and being an ambassador of RSM
- Ensuring all communication to stakeholders (Partners & Candidates) is clear and timely
- Attending recruitment scoping meetings with hiring Partners and the Executive hire team to fully understand the brief of each role before starting to source candidates
- Ensuring that all resourcing requests are tracked and monitored
- Supporting the Talent Acquisition Manager in delivering on recruitment projects
- Building up an in-depth knowledge of a variety of different areas of the business
- Building talent pools
- Assisting where appropriate and ensuring best practice at all stages of the processes
- Working closely with the wider recruitment team and getting involved with various national recruitment projects
- Contributing to the continuous development of the RSM brand
- Provide a consultative approach to recruitment requests, putting client delivery at the heart of all activity
Requirements
Essential
- You will already be/ have been operating within a Professional Services (Accountancy) firm resourcing capacity, either within an agency or in-house context, and be passionate about in-house recruitment
- A solid understanding of the recruitment project lifecycle
- Confident in using LinkedIn Recruiter and other talent sourcing tools
- The ability to manage diverse roles and sometimes complex roles
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent client service and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good IT skills (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
