CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician, to join our client based in Penryn Cornwall. This is a permanent role, where the successful candidate will provide technical support within their laboratory. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday: 9am – 5pm.   The Laboratory Technician Role:Carrying out preparation of samples for analysis. Performing analysis using XRF / ICP / other techniques as required.Recording and reporting test results.Maintaining good laboratory practice and the highest standards of housekeeping and safety.Performing laboratory admin and housekeeping duties as directed.Assisting with bench-scale metallurgical test work as required.Your Background:Degree/HND/HNC in Chemistry, or relevant discipline.Experience of working in a laboratory.Experience with using ICP and / or XRF for chemical analysis.  Apply: It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
