Job Summary:

Our client is looking for a dynamic, polished individual with a proactive approach to securing new business, particularly in within the corporate sector. This individual will cultivate relationships, follow up on leads, and creatively drive new opportunities aligned with the venues regenerative and forward-thinking vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development for Corporate events: Take a proactive approach to identify and secure new business opportunities, particularly in corporate events and networking.

Lead Conversion and Follow-up : Work on leads generated by internal sources, diligently following up to maximize conversion and secure new bookings and maximising occupancy rates.

Venue Show arounds: Conduct show arounds for prospective wedding and corporate clients, showcasing the venue's features and unique offerings. Establish excellent working relationships.

Trend-Driven Strategy for New Business : Develop new business initiatives that reflect current trends, and inspiration from innovative industry leaders.

Creative and Vision-Aligned Thinking: Bring forward-thinking and creative ideas to align with the venues regenerative vision, incorporating sustainable and innovative approaches.

Outreach and Relationship Building: Engage with local corporate businesses and build strong relationships within the community to drive referrals and partnerships.

Local Business Partnerships: Forge lasting connections with local businesses to enhance brand presence and create mutually beneficial opportunities.

Program Development and Opportunity Creation: Design and facilitate unique courses and events that drive engagement and open new business opportunities.

Collaborative Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the wedding and events team to support our goals and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, polished presence.
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably in events or hospitality.
