My client based on the outskirts of St Ives Cambridgeshire are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operator on a full time permanent basis. We are seeking candidates with basic electro-mechanical skills to work in an expanding team.
- Monday – Friday
- 8am – 4pm
- Own transport required due to location
- £25-27,000 per annum DOE
Common Duties May Include
- Assembling different electronic components using hand tools and soldering irons.
- Drilling and basic machining on plastic/metal enclosures using machine tools such as pillar-drills.
- Testing finished products and parts.
- Identifying and rectifying product defects and assembly problems, replacing faulty components when necessary.
- Following clean room procedures and safety protocols to handle sensitive electronic components.
- Collaborating with other team members to optimise production processes and quality.
- Packing goods for dispatch
