My client based on the outskirts of St Ives Cambridgeshire are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operator on a full time permanent basis. We are seeking candidates with basic electro-mechanical skills to work in an expanding team.

  • Monday – Friday
  • 8am – 4pm
  • Own transport required due to location
  • £25-27,000 per annum DOE

Common Duties May Include

  • Assembling different electronic components using hand tools and soldering irons.
  • Drilling and basic machining on plastic/metal enclosures using machine tools such as pillar-drills.
  • Testing finished products and parts.
  • Identifying and rectifying product defects and assembly problems, replacing faulty components when necessary.
  • Following clean room procedures and safety protocols to handle sensitive electronic components.
  • Collaborating with other team members to optimise production processes and quality.
  • Packing goods for dispatch
