Their commitment to creating bespoke schedules and maintaining formal processes has earned them a loyal customer base. As we look to expand, we seek a dynamic Business Development Executive to bring new clients into signed IT support contracts.
The primary objective of the Business Development Executive is to identify and secure new clients for their IT support services. This hybrid/Remote role requires a combination of remote work, office visits, and client meetings. The successful candidate will develop relationships with potential clients, understand their IT needs, and convert them into long-term customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to sign IT support contracts.
- Generate leads through business networking, cold calling, and other strategies.
- Meet potential clients in person or via Teams to understand their IT requirements and propose tailored solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients to understand their needs and challenges.
- Communicate effectively to gather insights about client grievances and shortfalls.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to create comprehensive proposals for potential clients.
- Present proposals to clients, highlighting how their services can meet their needs and improve their IT infrastructure.
- Identify opportunities for additional sales, including equipment (desktops, laptops), labour-intensive projects, and services such as Microsoft 365.
- Ensure ongoing sales opportunities from existing signed clients by being their first port of call for technical queries.
- Work with the team to develop their IT support contract offerings and identify new product opportunities.
- Suggest and implement improvements in their service delivery and product offerings.
- Aim to secure at least one signed contract from a new client per month after the initial settling period.

- Understanding of IT support services and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
- At least 3 yearsβ experience of working in a Business Development environment.
- Ability to travel to client sites.
- Live within a commutable distance to the Harrogate or Leeds area to facilitate office visits and client meetings.
- Valid driver\βs license and access to a reliable vehicle.
