22.5 hours and 19.5 hours Monday to Friday, with weekend and bank holiday working on a rota basis.
Assist in the provision of an effective and timely service from the Pharmacy stores to the patients and staff of South Tees NHS Hospitals Foundation Trust under the supervision of the pharmacy stores assistant technical officers (ATOs) and the leadership of the Pharmacy Stores Manager.
Main duties of the job
Weekend and bank holiday working on a rota basis
To assist in the provision of an effective and timely service from the Pharmacy stores to the patients and staff of South Tees NHS Hospitals Foundation Trust under the supervision of the pharmacy stores assistant technical officers (ATOs) and the leadership of the Pharmacy Stores Manager.
To receive pharmaceutical goods into the Trust following all relevant policies and procedures.
To provide a ward top up service to wards of James Cook University Hospital.
To load ward omnicells with medication orders, rotating stock and performing cycle counts.
To accurately and efficiently pick and check medication stock orders for wards and departments of South Tees NHS Hospitals Foundation Trust.
To safely use the pharmacy stores pallet trucks and pallet stacker after appropriate training.
To load European pallets with fluid orders to be delivered to wards and departments and decant received fluid orders onto the racking provided.
To assist the pharmacy stores manager and supervisors with stock takes, stock counts and stock maintenance.
To assist in maintaining a clear workspace, and keeping shelves stocked to maintain workflow.
