This Associate Manager, Innovation role is a critical role in the EU Innovation team to help deliver the robust and exciting innovation agenda for Ecover/Method in Europe. This role will be supporting successful delivery of the overall pipeline but also responsible for leading some key projects for the European business and will be judged on successful delivery to market.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the innovation pipeline projects from conception to fruition – driving projects through the stage-gate process / working with a dynamic cross functional team in brand, product development, commercial, operations, finance, creative & design
• Lead creative concept development and clear articulation of the consumer desirability, product feasibility and financial viability
• Lead critical decision making / recommendation throughout innovation development
• Manage overall product claims, including legal and compliance
• Support local market assessment of innovation commercialization and input to forecasting assumptions / size of prize analysis
• Actively mentor 1 Senior Associate Innovation / 1 Associate Manager Analyst). helping them to grow and develop in their roles and managerial skills as a high performing team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with EU marketing & x functional teams to ensure up to date knowledge of business needs, requirements & challenges.

Experience You’ll Bring:

• Experience in Brand led roles (Brand Management, Account Management)
• Innovation experience
• Project management expertise
• Creative & design sensibility
• Previous experience in FMCG or in a Retailer
• Strong Presentation, Analytical skills
• Drive for results with high degree of initiative and speed.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a complex environment.
• Ability to multi-task and to prioritize.
• Team player, able to build relationships at all levels and across function
