Location: Coventry, Ansty Park
Pay Rate: £14.30/hour
Reports to: Shop Floor Supervisor
About the Role
Our client is looking for a hands‑on and experienced Team Leader to support their production operations at the Ansty site. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in factory production who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys leading by example.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of production operatives to meet daily output and quality targets.
- Ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation on the shop floor.
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and support development.
- Maintain a safe and compliant working environment in line with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments to ensure production continuity.
- Conduct daily briefings, manage shift handovers, and report on team KPIs.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
- Be flexible and willing to carry out hands‑on production tasks as required to support the team and meet operational needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a production factory environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of health & safety and quality control standards.
