Lupos Global has a requirement for a Part 145 Maintenance Manager to be based at East Midland’s Airport. This is a Permanent position.

Our client specializes in tailored aircraft solutions for Global Integrators, National Mail Organizations and other B2B e-commerce suppliers with both ad-hoc and long-term demand for cargo aircraft.

Role Summary:

Responsible for all scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance planned to be carried out Line locations in accordance with Part 145, the MOE, and the AOC approved Maintenance Program.

Responsibilities:

  • The satisfactory completion and certification of all work required by contracted operators/customers in accordance with the work specification (Work Order and approved MOE procedures).
  • Ensuring that the organisation\’s procedures and standards are complied with when carrying out maintenance.
  • Ensuring the competence of all personnel engaged in maintenance.
  • Establishing a programme of training and continuation training using internal and/or external sources.
  • Providing feedback to the Quality System about the services provided by contracted Organisations, Subcontractors.
  • Responsible for responding to quality deficiencies around activity for which he/she is responsible, which arise from independent quality audits.
  • Ensuring, through the workforce under his/her control, that the quality of workmanship in the final product is to a standard acceptable to the organisation and UK CAA
  • The implementation of the safety policy and human factor issues.
  • Developing a production planning system appropriate to the amount and complexity of the maintenance scope of work.
  • Availability of sufficient competent personnel to plan, perform, supervise, inspect, and certify the work being performed.
  • Availability of all necessary maintenance data.
  • Recording and notify any inaccurate, incomplete, or ambiguous procedure, practice information or maintenance instruction contained in the maintenance data used by maintenance personnel to the author of maintenance data.
  • Providing a common work card or worksheet system to be used throughout relevant parts of the organisation and ensure such documents comply with 145.A.45 (e).
  • Notifying the Accountable Manager whenever deficiencies emerge which require his attention in respect of finance and the acceptability of standards (Accountable Manager and Quality Manager to be officially informed of any lack of 25% of available man-hours over a calendar month).
  • Responsible for supplying the necessary technical documents, worksheets, Tech logs etc to customers as required by the terms of any support contracts.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Experience of Managing teams and employees.
  • Experience of motivating staff.
  • Understanding of how aircraft maintenance needs to be Performed and Managed.
  • Understanding of budgets and performance control.
  • Tactical thinking level.

Academic/Educational Requirements:

  • EASA Part 66 B1 or B2 license covering ATR and or B737 NG & B737 Classic.
  • UK Part 145 regulations.
  • EASA Part 145 regulations.

Position details:

Start – ASAP

Location – East Midlands Airport

Permanent Position

Shift Pattern – Day time Monday -Friday (flexible as required)
