The predicted salary is between 20000 - 28000 £ per year.

The portering team play a vital part within a busy hospital and ensure that patients are moved safely around to different areas of the hospital.

The successful candidate is required to be physically fit to be able to keep up with the demands of a portering role.

An opportunity has arisen within the Endoscopy Unit at Eastbourne DGH for a Band 2 Endoscopy Porter. The purpose of this role is to provide a

general portering service to the Endoscopy Unit, participate in the transportation of endoscopic equipment, transferring patients and provide

general support as required to the staff on the Endoscopy Unit.

The department is operational 08.00-18.00 Monday to Saturday and may include Sundays in the future. The successful applicants will need to

work flexible shifts covering these hours. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, organisational and interpersonal skills

as liaison with other disciplines is an integral part of this role. Other essential requirements for the role are
