Premises Assistant – Part-Time (Secondary School – SE4)

Hours: 7:00am – 11:00am, Monday to Friday

Remedy Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the SE4 area to recruit a reliable and proactive Premises Assistant. This is a part-time, long-term position with an immediate start, ideal for someone looking for morning-only hours in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Opening and securing the school premises daily
Carrying out basic maintenance and general repairs
Ensuring the school site remains clean, safe, and well-maintained
Supporting the Site Manager with daily operational tasks
Assisting with deliveries, room setups, and occasional porter duties
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar premises or caretaker role is desirable
Good practical skills and a hands-on attitude
Knowledge of basic health and safety procedures
Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently
Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
