Overview
As a Senior Care Worker with CrossReach, you’ll combine hands-on support with team leadership, while embracing a Christian ethos that places love at the centre of everything we do. You’ll be trusted to lead by example, bring spiritual care to daily life, and support both residents and your team with sensitivity and wisdom.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading daily care delivery, including medication and personal care
- Encouraging and developing your team through mentoring and support
- Responding to changing needs and emergency situations calmly
You’ll bring:
- SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
- Experience in adult social care, ideally in a senior or shift lead role
- A Christian faith that’s central to how you lead and support others
- Patience, reliability and a passion for person-led care
This is a post with a Christian Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010. You’ll need to be a practising Christian, comfortable leading or participating in worship and spiritual support.

As we do our work in Christ’s name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.
This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
