Sharpsmart Finance Team is growing!

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our finance team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations.

This role will be working 4 days per week from our Spennymoor (Co Durham) site with option to work 1 day from home.to join our finance team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations.

This role will be working minimum 4 days per week at our Spennymoor Durham site with option to work 1 day from home.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and process new contracts within the finance system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards and customer agreements
  • Manage and update contract details, including changes in services & prices, and ensure all updates are accurately reflected in the finance system
  • Own and maintain the case management system and shared mailboxes
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Sales, Operations, and Customer Service, to ensure contract details align with company offerings and client requirements
  • Monitor and ensure contracts are set up in line with pricing strategies, including any inflation increases
  • Partake in cash allocations onto finance system
  • Undertaking other accounts receivable duties as required

Skills and Experience Required

  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages including good Excel skills
