Role summary:
Acting as an ambassador for the business during both internal & external interactions, deliver upon the broader MEU-UK Living Environmental Systems (LES) and focusing on the Residential Products Group (RPG) vision and strategy, through the development of a multi-channel marketing strategy and delivery of tactical marketing activities designed to drive product and service sales and loyalty with our B2B customer base, including but not limited to installers, wholesalers, value added retailers, merchants, developers, specifiers and contractors. In support of the Line Manager; innovate, implement, deliver and manage; creative business focused marketing output that is aligned to the company vision and targets.
Deliver excellence through the passionate and positive engagement of key stakeholders and the dissemination of business programs, accomplishments, messages and expertise. Deliver marketing activities with passion, positivity and empathy to maximise the sales of the departments products & services to ensures that the business has the capability to sustainably retain its leadership position in a market that is expected to experience a challenging period of transformation and rapid growth in order to help the UK meet its net zero targets.
Skills/Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive B2B marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Identify key target markets, personas, and customer pain points to tailor marketing initiatives effectively.
- Create and promote compelling B2B content, including white papers, case studies, webinars, blogs, and email campaigns.
- Oversee the development of technical marketing materials such as brochures, product guides, and specification sheets.
- Design and execute demand generation campaigns to drive high-quality leads.
- Work closely with the sales team to optimise lead qualification and conversion.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver professional exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events to maximize brand visibility and engagement.
- Identify, engage, and manage relationships with industry influencers, thought leaders, and brand ambassadors to amplify the company’s reach.
- Develop influencer marketing strategies that align with business goals, driving credibility and brand advocacy within key markets.
- Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs.
- Leverage insights to refine messaging, product positioning, and competitive differentiation.
- Partner with the product management department (PMD) to ensure marketing efforts align with product features and benefits.
- Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including distributors, industry associations, and trade media.
Experience:
- 5Y+ experience in B2B marketing, preferably in manufacturing, HVAC, or renewable energy sectors.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful B2B marketing campaigns.
- Experience in planning and delivering exhibitions, trade shows and customer events.
- Understanding of customer loyalty scheme management and promotion.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing, including identifying and collaborating with relevant industry figures.
- Strong content creation and storytelling abilities tailored for technical and professional audiences.
- Experience of using marketing tools and platforms such as Microsoft Nav Dynamics, Marketo and Hootsuite.
- Familiarity with traditional and digital marketing tactics including literature, PPC, SEO and social media.
- Enthusiastic, confident & articulate communicator capable of navigating across all levels of business.
- Possesses a diligent, analytical, self-motivational, passionate & pro-active problem-solving mindset.
- Experience in agency management for a variety of services.
- Experience in stakeholder management with a natural ability to collaborate within a team.
