We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Conference and Events Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting the management of all aspects of conference and event planning, from the initial inquiry to the final touches of execution, ensuring high standards are met and guests' expectations are exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and executing a wide range of events, from corporate meetings to large-scale banquets.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions that align with their vision.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and event logistics.
  • Monitor event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Help manage budgets and financial aspects of events, ensuring profitability.
  • Conduct site inspections with potential clients and showcase venue features and services.
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise before or during events to maintain service excellence.
  • Assist in training and supervising event staff to ensure they meet the hotels high standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and external partners.
  • Continuously update knowledge of industry trends to enhance event offerings.

  • Proven experience in event management, preferably in a hospitality setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.

We are open 7 days a week 365 days a year and need people to work a range of shifts and days – this means great flexibility if required. We are busier generally during evenings and weekends but shift patterns and contracted hours can all be discussed at interview.
