For our Data Centre Segment regional Sales team we are looking for a Data Centre Strategic Key Accounts Manager who shall grow EATON’s revenue within large international Data Centre operating companies.
The person is expected to identify and book profitable new business directly with these clients. They will work collaboratively with other regional and global account managers, central account support team, bid response team, business units, functional units, segment marketing and country sales organizations.
Location: remote for Greater London Area.
Responsibilities
- Establish, own and execute a commercial account plan that meets targets across sales, orders, pipeline, product mix, margin, and key contacts.
- Build relationships with all account decision makers and influencers.
- Understand the client buying process and identify revenue opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Capture client challenges and align them with Eaton’s portfolio.
- Oversee commercial and technical responses to tenders and secure purchase orders and framework agreements.
- Handover to project management, product services and customer support teams post‑order.
- Maintain oversight of commercial engagements to ensure customer success and vendor performance.
- Communicate the benefits of Eaton to the assigned accounts and report account numbers and forecasts.
- Collaborate with sales and stakeholders at all levels to provide guidance and insights.
- Build a multi‑lane bridge between Eaton and the client organization including R&D, product, marketing, operations, supply chain and executive management.
- Support marketing campaigns (ABM) and activities that grow Eaton‑to‑client relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in science or engineering, or equivalent experience in the Data Centre industry.
- 4‑5 years of related experience in Data Centre business.
- Excellent ability to inspire and coordinate others with entrepreneurial spirit and customer affinity.
- Knowledge of Data Centre design and operations; technical presence preferred.
- Ability to relate well with leaders of target customers.
- Knowledgeable in implementing new tools and processes.
- Well‑rounded professional who knows when to support, lead, listen and direct.
