UKR Group is looking for an experienced Welfare Cleaner to start ASAP in a job in Edinburgh, Scotland .
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all welfare facilities on construction sites are kept clean, hygienic, and presentable at all times.
- Clean site cabins, offices, canteens, toilets, drying rooms, and other communal areas.
- Replenish cleaning materials, toilet rolls, hand soap, and paper towels as required.
- Dispose of waste appropriately, following site health and safety procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns to the site supervisor.
- Follow strict cleaning schedules and adhere to health and safety regulations, including COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).
- Assist with deep cleans and special cleaning tasks as instructed.
Skills:
- Good attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Time management skills and the ability to work to a schedule.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
Requirements:
- CSCS card
- Previous experience in a cleaning role, ideally within a construction environment
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience
