Hippo Motor Group is seeking four enthusiastic and hardworking Vehicle Preparation Assistants to ensure our vehicles are presented to the highest standards. You will be responsible for performing full valets, single-stage machine polishing, and applying specialist paint protection coatings, ensuring all vehicles meet or exceed customer expectations. The hours for this position are Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly valet sold and stock vehicles, ensuring they are cleaned and prepared to showroom standards.
- Reclean stock and pitch vehicles when necessary.
- Perform single-stage machine polishing to restore paint finishes and remove minor defects.
- Apply specialist paint protection coatings to protect the vehicle’s exterior.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure consistent quality across all vehicles.
- Ensure pitch vehicles are presented to a high standard.
- Keep tools, equipment, and workspaces clean and in good condition.
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines, ensuring vehicles are ready for delivery or collection on time.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Complete any other duties related to vehicle preparation as required.
- Drive vehicles between Hippo compounds and buildings.
