Job Title: Night Senior Care Assistant – Maternity Leave Cover
Location: Halmer Court, Spalding, PE11 2EL
Salary: £13.25 per hour + Paid Training + Recognised Qualifications
Hours: Full-time – Average 38.5 hours per week (includes alternate weekends)
Shifts: 8:00pm – 8:00am
Shift Pattern:
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday – 44 hours
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday – 33 hours

What You\’ll Need
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Level 3 preferred or willingness to complete it)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A genuine passion for working with older adults
- Ability to supervise care staff and lead with confidence
Your Role
As a Senior Night Care Assistant, you\’ll:
- Support and guide care staff on shift
- Ensure personal, physical, and emotional care needs are met
- Administer medication as needed
- Update care plans and maintain accurate records
- Build trusting relationships with residents and families
- Promote dignity, independence, and choice
