A Lanarkshire-based childcare services company that offers childcare to parents of school-aged children, afterschool and during school holidays, is looking to add a Childcare Practitioner to their team. They arrange a wide range of activities and outings with input from parents and children.

The successful candidate would be expected to work 16/20 hours over 5 days, typically 2pm-6pm during term time, and 2/3 days, 10am-6pm during school holidays. The hourly rate for the role is £12.60.

Duties:

  • Work within the team to set up a safe & welcoming environment.
  • Collect children from school and ensure their safety while in your care.
  • Prepare healthy snacks.
  • Plan and carry out a wide range of activities.
  • Create and update children’s personal plans.
  • Build positive relationships with children and their families.
  • Follow company policies & procedures.
  • Perform various cleaning duties.

Requirements:

  • SSSC Registration within 3 months of employment.
