Your impact
Jacobs has secured multiple multi-year Frameworks and Projects with leading Clients in the UK, Ireland and across the Globe. Water is looking for skilled and highly motivated people that are looking to grow their careers in exciting new ways to deliver on these fantastic opportunities in the Water Industry and beyond.
Successful candidates will join our team of nearly 600 water professionals, who work on a range of high-profile projects. You will become part of a World Leading Company with excellent career prospects. You could be delivering project tasks, designs and in a multi-disciplinary, multi-company environment on water and wastewater infrastructure and facilities at various stages in the project life cycle, working within our multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects within agreed timeframes and budget.
We are looking for experienced Water Mechanical Engineer across various grades to join our offices across the UK to reinforce our existing team and further support our frameworks with UK Water Companies.

Here\’s what you\’ll need
- A Masters Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Achieved Chartered Status (ceng) with a recognised Professional Institution
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Water and/or wastewater networks
- Water and/or wastewater treatment works
- Mass water conveyance
- Pumping stations & motors
- Enthusiasm to solve problems and enjoy working as part of a large multi-national company
- Worked within multi-disciplinary teams, co-ordinating and supporting junior Staff
- Enthusiasm to line manage
- A proactive attitude and be keen to take ownership of Client relationships and contribute to the growth of our business
