Raytheon UK are looking for an electronics engineer to join as a Test Technician. This exciting role is based in Manufacturing working on Test and RF based projects. This role supports a range of Manufacturing Engineering projects in the Aerospace and Defence industry.
Tasks include:
- Diagnose and fault find complex electronic assemblies to component level
- Test electronic assemblies
- Diagnose test equipment and faults
- Maintenance and calibration for test equipment
- Record tests, failure and yield reports
- Support engineering investigations
- Process improvement tasks in test area
- RF projects
The successful candidate will be qualified in electronics e.g. HNC, HND, Degree. Ideally with Radio Frequency (RF) skills as part of electronic skillset & previous experience of testing analogue and digital electronic assemblies down to component level and working on circuits.
Candidates will need to demonstrate experience in a similar environment e.g. using test and debug lab equipment and working in a complex electronic
manufacturing engineering role. Ideally you\’ll have experience in debug of switch mode power supplies and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and/or STTE (Special to Type Test Equipment)
The successful hire will need to be a permanent UK resident and successfully complete a successful baseline BPSS background check for this role.
