The Role
We are currently recruiting for a PTS Day Shift Train Cleaner with a keen eye for detail who take great pride in ensuring their environment meets a high level of cleanliness for customers who use the railway service on a regular basis.
This is a busy depot therefore a good level of communication is required as you work to ensure a high standard of work is met. Ideally, you will hold a sentinel card with PTS competencies of AC/DC, although this is not essential as training will be provided by Ganymede Solutions.
You will be joining the day cleaning team who cover a roster of 08:30am-15:30pm from Monday to Friday with the option of overtime available at the discretion of the management.

Pay Rate & Benefits
Standard Hours (35 hours p/w)- £13.85p/h
Overtime (+36 hours) and Rest Days – £20.78p/h
Bank Holidays – £27.70p/h
You become eligible for a pay increase after 12 weeks due to AWR. This is a fantastic opportunity as candidates who excel during the 6-month contract period will be considered for subsequent permanent positions. Ideally, you will be experienced within a vehicle / industrial or commercial cleaning environment.
You will have a keen eye for detail and take pride in delivering a clean and safe environment for customers.
The day shift is on a 5-day working roster so you must be comfortable working day shifts, overtime is available at management discretion.
Training is provided covering depot protection, site safety and cleaning solutions. There will also be PTS training which will be provided for successful candidates.
Work is undertaken in a safety critical environment so you will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening.
