Job Title: Business Development Manager – Water Hygiene/ Treatment

Location: South East England
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + Car Allowance + Commission + Bonus + Pension + Private Healthcare
OTE: £65K+

Summary

An established, employee-owned environmental services company is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth within the Facilities Management and end-user sectors. This field-based role involves identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and offering compliance-led water hygiene and treatment solutions. Full training provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business in FM and compliance-driven sectors
  • Meet with key decision-makers and present tailored solutions
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery
  • Attend industry events and stay up to date with compliance standards (e.g. ACoP L8, HSG274)

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ B2B sales experience, ideally in water hygiene or FM
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and risk management
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • CRM experience and full UK driving licence required
