Cover Supervisor – South Leeds
We’re currently seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across South Leeds. With increasing demand for classroom support, we have a variety of exciting opportunities available throughout the area.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged with the work set. Your main goal will be to maintain a positive, focused learning environment while managing classroom behaviour effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising students and ensuring completion of set work
- Managing behaviour and promoting a productive classroom atmosphere
- Supporting students with queries related to their tasks
- Adhering to school policies on behaviour and safeguarding
- Collecting and returning completed work to the relevant department
- Providing feedback on lesson outcomes and student engagement
