Grafton Recruitment are currently working with an growing SME business to recruit a Purchasing Manager.
This role will take responsibility for sourcing engineering materials, negotiating pricing and setting up contracts, and managing stock levels and material in the supply chain. The role requires an experienced hands on procurement professional who is very commercial aware.
You will:
- Develop and implement procurement strategy
- Source and negotiate contracts for new product
- Manage relationships and performance with suppliers and expedite product
- Manage planning of stock levels
Requirements:
- Procurement experience and a track record of delivering cost savings
- Technical knowledge of engineered products, components, consumables
- Motivated and highly commercial approach
