About the Role

A Coatbridge company that provides high-quality care & support services, enabling people to live independently at home while ensuring their care needs are met by experienced staff, is looking to add Care Assistants to their busy team.

Job Details

All positions are permanent, with hours ranging from 18 to 40 per week. Shifts include evenings and weekends. The hourly rate is £13.00.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting with personal care, toileting, showering, dressing, etc.
  • Managing medication: administration, storage, collection.
  • Performing light housework: making beds, emptying bins, washing dishes, cleaning worktops.
  • Cooking, mainly microwave meals.
  • Shopping and local errands such as collecting milk and bread.

Requirements

  • Driving license with access to own car for work.

Desirable Skills and Training

  • Experience in care preferred.
  • All staff will be supported to achieve the SVQ in Social Services and Health Care at no cost.
