We are seeking a Skilled Labourer to work on various projects within our Rail Sector, based out of Rainham Depot. You will mostly be working as part of a small 2–3-person crew servicing our contracts. Preferred current Rail Access Certification required. (SENTINAL)
The successful candidate will be experienced in a range of trades including concrete work, paving, roofing, door replacement, carpentry, plumbing, and general building and drainage maintenance. You will carry out repairs, refurbishments, and installations across commercial properties.
What We Offer
- An hourly rate of between 16.25and 17.50 pounds per hour dependent on experience (paid weekly)
- Sunday – Thursday (Nights 10pm – 6am) however you will be required to workday shifts when projects demand.

Responsibilities
- Support site teams with repairs, refurbishments, and minor installations to a high standard
- Ensure work areas are properly prepared, collecting materials and tools from the stores department as needed
- Work under instruction from the Person in Charge (PWT or SPC), adhering to safety protocols and site procedures
- Return unused materials and tools to the stores at the end of each shift
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and demonstrate a flexible approach to changing work demands
Experience And Qualifications For The Role
- Proven experience in multi-trade works or general building maintenance
- Comfortable working nights and in a rail environment (LU/TfL experience preferred)
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
- Strong awareness of site safety, especially within a live rail setting
- Reliable, adaptable, and willing to take on a variety of tasks
