Collaborative working is at the heart of the force’s support services, which are shared with Staffordshire Fire and Rescue. We have an important role to play in enabling both organisation\’s to deliver on their recruitment and resourcing priorities.
About The Opportunity
Our Recruitment Team is evolving and this is an exciting opportunity to be part of our transformation. Reporting to the Strategic Recruitment Lead, you will provide a centralised Recruitment and onboarding service offering support and guidance to line managers and providing excellent customer service to applicants.
You will be involved in both individual and bulk 360 recruitment, working with a range of stakeholders across both Staffordshire Police and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue.
You will be managing candidates from application through to initial onboarding. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the recruitment process, from shortlisting applications and arranging appointments to pre-enrolment events, interviews and assessment centres.
We are looking for someone who has initiative and a common sense approach with experience of working in a high pressured, fast-paced environment. Extensive knowledge of recruitment process and legislation is essential along with excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments.
