Nicholsons is looking for a calm and friendly individual to join the team as a ‘People Team Assistant’.
The successful candidate will support the People Team and work closely with the Head of People to ensure that our teams thrive at work.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Being an ambassador for Nicholsons’ culture and values.
- Supporting Nicholsons’ Head of People’ to maintain employee records to GDPR standards.
- Scheduling interviews, meetings and other diary commitments as required.
- Liaising with employees and externals regarding people-related matters such as recruitment.
- Participating in Nicholsons Investors in People committee meetings and actioning things as required.
- Assisting with administrative tasks as required, such as updating systems.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in a people-focused role.
- The utmost respect for confidentiality and discretion.
- Strong communication skills with confidence to communicate over the phone, via email and in person scenarios.
- A calm and friendly manner.
- Excellent administrative skills, attention to detail, organisation and scheduling experience.
- Good Microsoft skills and a willingness to learn Nicholsons’ systems.
- Ideally, GDPR knowledge.
Compensation: £26,000 – £32,000 depending on experience
This position is a full-time role, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) – our core hours are 07:30 – 16:30 with flexible working options available on request.
Based in Nicholsons’ Oxfordshire office in North Aston.
