Copello are partnered with a engineering defence client who are recruiting for a Logistics Assistant to join their team in Sealand on a 18 month fixed term contract (FTC).
As a Logistics Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the management and control of Enduring System Spares, Test Equipment, and Calibration requirements. You will also assist in the completion of site reviews, stock takes, and new equipment requirements.
Required Skills
- Experienced MJDI User
- Knowledge of MOD Logistics and Supply Chain
- Knowledge of the MOD Returns (disposals) processes
- Attention to detail, with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Able to manually handle loads of up to 20kg repeatedly
- Support the efficiency of Service Delivery through best practice process and methods
- Good front facing customer relationship management skills
- Visibility in Transit Asset Logging (VITAL) and Hazardous Goods experience
- Sound knowledge of the management of Test Equipment and Calibration
- Relevant experience in logistics or a related field
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel to and other visit sites
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Security clearance may be required
