I am currently recruiting for an Interim IPC Infection Prevention and Control nurse to support a London NHS organisation on an initial 3 month contract. Main Duties Of The Role: Collaborate closely with specialist practitioners at Place to provide clinical support, focusing on executing the Annual Plan and enhancing care standards and equity. Leverage insights from key performance indicators to allocate and structure resources effectively, ensuring fairness and appropriateness in resource distribution. Conduct and document formal risk assessments, escalating issues to the DDIPC and the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) team as necessary. Evaluate complex data derived from surveys, audits, reviews, and investigations. Partner with performance and commissioning teams to design and implement monitoring systems aimed at improving quality and safety. Oversee the infection prevention online portal, ensuring timely resolution of queries and accurate daily updates. Stay professionally current in all areas of infection prevention and control (IPC), proactively acquiring new skills and knowledge as needed.
