We are working with a highly reputable fashion supplier based in Central London who are seeking a proactive and highly organised Wholesale Merchandiser to join their dynamic and collaborative team. Working closely with the Designer, Technologist, and wider product team, you will report directly to the Merchandise Manager and take ownership of their largest customer account across menswear multiproduct.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in wholesale merchandising who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow within a supportive and knowledgeable team.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Manage the day-to-day running of their key account, ensuring smooth workflow from development through to delivery
- Prepare for and attend customer meetings, maintaining strong and professional relationships
- Negotiate prices and lead times with overseas factories to meet margin and delivery requirements
- Manage the critical path to ensure timely approvals and deliveries
- Raise purchase orders and contracts, keeping all records up to date
- Approve lab dips, fabric quality, and strike-offs in collaboration with the technical and design teams
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to support the development and production process
- Provide weekly updates and reports on account progress
Person specification:
- Previous experience in a wholesale merchandising role within the fashion industry
- Confident working with offshore factories – Bangladesh experience advantageous
- Strong understanding of critical path management
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- A positive, proactive, and can-do attitude!
