As a Supply Chain Planner, you ensure the efficient utilization of resources across the Supply Chain, both internally and externally. You anticipate, monitor, and maintain inventory levels across production units and storage locations.
In this role, your organization and communication skills will be critical as you work with various departments such as operations, trade, and logistics, while providing excellent service to our customers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling chemicals, raw materials, and sales orders based on the master plan.
- Aligning the plan with operations and identifying short-term issues, possible optimizations, or constraints.
- Collaborating and communicating effectively to make key decisions and prioritize supply issues in a timely, cost-effective manner.
- Calling off and receiving orders from suppliers, customers, and transport companies.
- Administering orders in the ERP system for planning, execution, and invoicing.
- Maintaining various reporting systems to ensure all documentation is accurate and timely.
Your key relationships will be:
- Master Planner, other Supply Chain Planners, and the transport specialist to ensure effective planning services.
- Local operations team to ensure plans are clear and serve as the escalation point for local inventory issues.
- Primary contacts for customers, suppliers, and transport companies regarding deliveries and collections.
- Frequent liaison with the Trade Team regarding supplier contract queries to ensure issues are escalated.
