Concrete/Asphalt Plant Operative

As a Concrete/Asphalt Plant Operative based within the Breedon Mobile Concrete Solutions Team you enjoy working away from home in a ‘hands on’ practical position which could see you travelling the length and breadth of the country.

This role could be based anywhere in the country on any number of our customer sites.

As our next Concrete/Asphalt Plant Operative, you’ll be primarily responsible for the day-to-day operation of the concrete plant including batching concrete as well as inspections, maintenance and housekeeping of the plant. You will also be required to operate the loading shovel whilst placing the highest importance on our sustained standards of excellence in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental Management.

– Previous concrete or asphalt batching experience
– A mechanical or fitting background (preferred but not essential)
– A valid UK Driving License
– A MPQC/CSCS skills card
– A hard-working approach with a can do attitude
– Effective communication & problem-solving skills
