Applications are invited for the post of Student and Programme Administrative Assistant in the School of Life Sciences and the Environment.
We are looking for an organised and motivated individual to join our dynamic team. You will be joining a thriving school, home to the departments of Biological Sciences, Earth Sciences, Geography, Psychology and Health Studies.
The role will require superb organisational skills, attention to detail, and good communication. We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable working independently under their own initiative, and also as part of a large team of colleagues. You will have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and flexibility in undertaking additional or alternative tasks as needs arise.
You will need to be comfortable with Microsoft software such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams, with a particular ability to perform basic functions and data manipulation within Microsoft Excel.
You will have particular responsibility for ensuring the accurate and timely administrative support of the student assessments such as coursework and exams. You will work with academic colleagues from within the School and administrative colleagues from the professional services across the University.
