Job Purpose
As a member-facing representative, you will be the friendly face of Coast Capital in the branch. You’ll balance providing friendly advice and service with proactively listening and identifying opportunities to deepen member relationships. By supporting members with financial advice, we help them build a better future, together. Although the role is posted as Customer Service Representative, internally it is titled Member Service Representative, emphasizing our focus on members.
Accountabilities
- Be the first friendly face members see, embodying Coast Capital values: connection, courage, re-imagination.
- Build relationships and deliver outstanding member experiences by addressing their needs and identifying future opportunities through conversations and financial guidance.
- Educate members on our digital channels (online banking, mobile apps) to enhance their experience.
- Contribute to team success by listening, spotting opportunities, and collaborating to meet members’ financial needs.
- Develop a strong understanding of how Coast Capital supports financial well-being.
- Create positive experiences by resolving and preventing banking issues proactively.
- Monitor for counterfeit money or illegal transactions as a first line of defense.
