Job Title: Social Worker – Duty and AssessmentLocation: Halton, Runcorn
Pay Rate: £46.10 per hour

Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Duty and Assessment Team within Halton’s Children’s Services Directorate. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, supportive team environment where your skills and experience will make a real difference in the lives of children and families.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Undertake assessments of children in need and those at risk of harm.
  • Work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
  • Manage a caseload of children and families, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports for a variety of audiences including court.
  • 3 years minimum post qualification experience within children’s social care.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

  • Social Work England registration.
  • Proven experience in a Duty and Assessment or similar frontline team.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
