Are you looking to grow your leadership and management experience in a vibrant, inclusive, and innovative Talking Therapies service? Are you a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or CBT Therapist and/or a Lead PWP (Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner)?
We\’re seeking a Team Lead to join Buckinghamshire Talking Therapies Service on a 12 month fixed term basis.
Our Talking Therapies Team Leader role is varied and offers opportunities to develop both your clinical and leadership skills within a supportive and nurturing environment.
We are committed to providing ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and in addition to in-house training you will have an annual CPD budget for relevant external courses.
Please note this is a 12-month fixed term post based in Aylesbury, and there may be the opportunity to apply for a permanent role towards the end of this period.
Interviews will be held face to face at our Peach Tree House, Bierton Road, Aylesbury on the 25th July.
As a member of the Bucks Talking Therapies leadership team, you will have responsibility for supporting the smooth delivery of service, including the work of psychological wellbeing practitioners at step 2, and high intensity therapists at step 3 in our pathway (as appropriate). You will take a lead on aspects of service delivery, offering opportunities for you to be involved in service development and innovations.
We are looking for a leader who is passionate about supporting and developing our staff. With support from our operational team, you will be involved in providing line management, clinical supervision and recruiting new team members.
Alongside management responsibilities, you will hold a clinical caseload (face-to-face or digitally) of clients, to further develop and enhance your clinical practice, this could include providing a clinic within primary care as part of our BTT work with Primary Care Networks (PCN).
