Here at GXO, we\’re recruiting a Transport Administrator to join our busy dynamic team in Swan Valley, Northampton working in partnership with our customer Sainsbury\’s.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, 3 on 3 off pattern, covering the hours of 18:00 to 06:00

What you\’ll do on a typical day:

  • Administer the timely, safe, and accurate movement of vehicles and associated activities
  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of WMS/transport IT systems (Microlise, C Free, Tachomaster).
  • Arrange despatch based on client routing guidelines, and booking via different carrier/client portals
  • Effectively communicate issues within the Traffic Department, Operations and Business Management
  • Collating daily reporting using Word and Excel

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Previous experience in a transport environment within e-commerce is essential
  • Knowledge of transport legislation and European Working Time Directive as well as Tachomaster
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • IT literate, with excellent Word and Excel capabilities
