About the role:
We are recruiting for a Senior Associate (Accounts) to handle accounts preparation for limited companies and consolidated accounts for small and medium groups.
Overview of duties:
- Preparing accounts for limited companies
- Preparing consolidated accounts for small & medium groups
- Preparing corporation tax returns
- Reviewing simple VAT returns
- Preparing management figures
- Developing work schedules and daily plans
- Supporting managers as needed
- Handling external auditor queries
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects
Person specification
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Self-motivated with adaptability to new scenarios
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure
- Excellent analytical and research skills
Education and experience:
- Minimum of 2 years practice experience
- Commitment to maintaining high technical knowledge
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Xero
- Experience with Iris, Alpha, QuickBooks, and Sage 50 is preferred
