About the job
Key responsibilities
- Overseeing the operational delivery of our range of services for clients, managing people, maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
- Managing various internal systems including liaising with external telephony and software providers.
- Supporting in the delivery of client-facing and internal staff training.
- Responding to clients’ requests for incident advice and support.
- Coordinating a team of talented specialist consultants who provide client support following incidents and complex issues.
- Where your skills suit the task, directly providing customer-focussed risk management consultancy and advice services.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this job
- A depth of experience and training in either health & safety, safeguarding, security, adventure activity leadership, insurance or other related areas of risk management.
- Creativity to seek new ways to improve client services through systems and processes.
- Ability to prioritse tasks and use initiative to take ownership of this important function.
- Ability to write logical, professional, client ready documents.
- An eye for detail and focus on ensuring clients receive the best possible service.
- Flexibility to ‘roll up your sleeves’ and occasionally do what needs to be done , including out-of-hours client support at times.

- £36,000 – £40,000 per year

While some flexibility in working arrangements can be accommodated where needed, our preference is for the successful candidate to join us regularly in our lovely office in the heart of historic Wokingham, just a five-minute walk from the station.
