Remedy is currently recruiting for a busy Secondary special educational needs school located in Greenwich and is looking to recruit fantastic Higher Level Teaching Assistants to work with their KS3 and KS4 learners. Experience with learners with physical disabilities is desirable.
At Remedy, our HLTA posts are suitable for those with extensive experience in the education sector who are ready for a new challenge. This is an ideal opportunity for Teaching Assistants with proven experience in leading a class without a teacher present and who want to make a real difference in young people\’s lives.
About You:
- Hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification
- Have a strong understanding or passion for working with individuals with complex and profound special educational needs
- Have practical experience of leading a class without a teacher present
We welcome applications from candidates without SEND experience but with previous Secondary HLTA experience. We will also consider applications from teacher training graduates seeking SEND experience before embarking on their future teaching careers.
