We have one PA position available with our client who is finishing her studies in Law and Criminology at the University of Liverpool.This is a great opportunity to really help make a difference to our clients educational journey.
Start Date:End of August/September
Location: Liverpool University (L3)
Shift Pattern: 7 days on / 7 days off (live-in)
Rate of Pay & Benefits
–Pay: £180 per day / £1,260
–Free accommodation while on shift
–Holidays: 5.6 weeks (pro rata)
–Bespoke training in the clients particular requirements
–On-call support from client coordinator
About our Client
Our client is a third-year Law and Criminology student at the University of Liverpool. She has Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a neuromuscular condition that causes muscle weakness and fatigue. She uses a powered wheelchair full-time and requires assistance with everyday tasks such as personal care, dressing, cooking, cleaning, and general support.

–Independent and Social: Enjoys attending events, socialising with friends, and leading an active university life.
–Determined and Resilient: Manages her studies and social life with enthusiasm and perseverance.

You will provide our client\’s personal/health care and social support. This is also a flatmate\” type of role which goes far beyond simply care work and includes all the fun things youd expect a university student to be doing, helping our client to socialise and make the most of her university experience. A key role will be to support our client in furthering her independence skills.
Care experience is not required as full training in our client\’s particular requirements will be provided.

You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client\’s care; therefore, full training in her particular needs is provided.

-Full UK driving licence and access to a car (Essential)

-Clean and tidy: Both in appearance and habits
