Restaurant Manager Annual Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 Location: Belfast Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead a team in a well-established restaurant in Belfast. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for the hospitality industry and a track record of managing a food service environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service and profitability, and for managing a diverse range of functions and events. Day to Day of the role: Oversee all facets of the restaurant to maximise profitability and strive for continual improvement. Implement systems and procedures to meet agreed targets for turnover, gross profit, and variable costs. Manage variable costs effectively and ensure proper use of equipment. Plan and prioritise tasks and events, working closely with the General Manager. Promote the restaurant and actively seek additional revenue opportunities. Manage menu and price changes in liaison with the Head Chef and General Manager. Ensure exceptional customer service, with management presence during peak hours. Encourage the team to upsell and handle customer needs individually. Maintain strict control over stock and comply with Company procedures. Manage staffing requirements within budget and control man-hour costs. Oversee recruitment, training, and performance assessments of staff. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 3 years' experience at a senior manager level within a busy food service environment. IT proficiency and advanced knowledge of using websites and social media. Experience with PR, Press, and Media. Commercial and cost-aware approach to work.
