  • Admin Assistant (Payroll)
  • Permanent – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Office Based in Lytham St Annes
  • £25,000 – £26,000 per annum, depending on experience

We are now seeking a proactive Admin Assistant to join our busy Payroll & Benefits Team. This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys assisting with processing payroll, compliance and analysis.

Main Responsibilities

  • Payroll processing for over 1000 colleagues ensuring full compliance and accuracy
  • Ensuring correct and well thought out decisions are being made where necessary
  • Involvement in reporting and analysis including National Living Wage
  • Recording of absence and associated calculations including statutory payments and Bradford Factor (holidays, sickness, maternity, paternity)
  • Timesheet calculations
  • Attachment of earnings
  • Assisting in reviewing payroll emails and carrying out actions as necessary
  • Administration of employee benefits ie pensions
  • Be a trusted point of contact and a go-to for payroll queries for your colleagues across the business and internal/external stakeholders
  • General ad hoc duties to support the Payroll & Benefits department.

  • Experience in payroll processing
  • Working knowledge of National Living Wage
  • Proven ability to prioritise workload and meet objectives, working independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent decision-making skills

  • Excellent excel & data entry skills
  • Ability to build good working relationships through communication (both written and verbal) and the confidence to reach out to colleagues to advise on any queries.
