The Opportunity

This position works out of our Maidenhead location in the Abbott Diabetes Division. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

As the Associate Brand Manager, you will: develop marketing strategies, including brand development, and work on implementing these strategies through campaigns to achieve financial and market business goals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Define and develop marketing strategies to maximize brand growth
  • Develop and implement brand plans that deliver on marketing strategies
  • Work closely with marketing teams including digital and trade marketing, cross-functional teams including regulatory, finance, medical, supply, and commercial excellence; regional and category marketing teams; and external partners
  • Manage innovation projects using insights, develop business cases, involve in product development, planning, customer engagement, implementation/launch, reporting, and post-launch evaluation
  • Forecast demand with high accuracy
  • Manage budgetary responsibilities
  • Report brand performance, including internal financials and market performance, using data to adapt strategies, plans, and investment opportunities
  • Responsible for brand content development and leading the internal approval process

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required

  • Educated to degree level in business and/or marketing management

Experience

  • Brand management or related experience with a proven track record of success
  • Strong influencing and project management skills
  • Industry experience preferred
  • Ability to solve organizational problems
  • Experience working with MS Office
