Blue Arrow is currently recruiting for experienced Machine Operators / Line Setters. This an exciting opportunity to join an Internationally recognised Manufacturer in the Nutritional Supplement Industry.
Contract: Permanent
Salary Basic: Line Setter 1: £26,748.72 / Line Setter 2: £28,703.88 pa (PLUS shift allowance)
Hours of work: Full time, two shifts, Monday to Friday. Rotating between Mornings 6am – 2pm and Afternoons 2pm – 10pm.
Role Summary: The successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience in the Food or Pharmaceutical industry. Must be target driven, have drive and ambition, and will be required to work within a Cleanroom environment achieving work standards that meet with GMP, 5s, Quality and Health and Safety
Role Responsibilities:
Set up/assemble production machines, including change overs.
Awareness of product quality requirements, highlight any concerns or issues, challenge product standards.
Understand the basic operational processes within your working area, highlight any Quality or Safety concerns.
Understand and adhere to Quality and Safety regulations through SOP i.e. HACCP, Pics, manual handling and general awareness of safety.
Be able to run/trained in a number of machines in the area (whole line equipment or 2/3 machines ZB/ZC
Checking process on the line, as per training.
Checking line clearance is in place.
Cleaning parts of the machine & area to standard required in a clean room & SOP.
Following GMP as per training.
Following Cleaning & Hygiene procedures as per training.
Be able to pre-form checks & sign in to batch records.
Complete batch records/works orders & if required fill in figures on plans.
Supporting staff development by coaching and guiding other team members, highlighting and training gaps within the team and covering for the Zone Leader in their absence.
Enforce best practice and compliance within the team, make suggestions to improve quality, safety and efficiency whilst highlighting any concerns.
Previous experience within a similar role is preferred. Ideally you will drive due to the client\’s remote location.
